Anathema Emporium hosts a series of seasonal Witch Markets in Bournemouth, bringing together independent makers, artists and spiritual practitioners from across Dorset and the South Coast. Held inside the historic Royal Arcade in Boscombe, each themed market celebrates the pagan wheel of the year, including events inspired by Ostara, Beltane, Lammas, Samhain and Yuletide.
Visitors can discover handmade crafts, crystals, candles, jewellery, herbal products, natural soaps and magical curiosities, alongside tarot readers, folk music and artisan food. Our markets are welcoming to anyone interested in witchcraft, folklore, handmade goods and alternative culture, as well as those simply looking for something unique.
The Anathema Witch Markets celebrate local creativity, traditional craft and community. Traders include artists, herbalists, candle makers, soap makers, jewellers and other independent makers who create their work in small batches by hand.
Held beneath the Victorian glass roof of the Royal Arcade (est. 1892), the markets have become a much-loved gathering for visitors from Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and beyond.
